All samples collected on August 29th were analyzed for blue-green algal toxins using the protein phosphatase inhibition assay. Water quality was good. Blue-green algae presence is persistent within the Bay.

These samples showed low risk for microcystin toxins. Users are still encouraged to avoid contact with visible blooms as other irritants may be present.
